JFK

This is a real quick project, just the well known 3D model of bazze with the default textures and all, so to say "out of the box"!
The markings JFK refer to the personal aircraft of Flying Officer Edward (Ted) Kosh who was flying this Hawker Tempest of No 3 Squadron in summer 1944. He flew his last mission with this aircraft on 1st of July ´44, his role was to shoot down V1 Flying Bombs as they crossed the coast and bring them down in rural areas before they reached London.

It appears that his aircraft was caught in the blast of a V1 after he fired on it and it blew up. He crashed at 05:45 near Icklesham, East Sussex. F/O Kosh was buried in Hawkinge Kent.
